I think mine diving is probably one of the most difficult diving one can do. Often the entrances to the mines and the access to the water is extremely complex. Once in the mine passages are often small a silty. However, if you can overcome these obstacles what you can see underwater is nothing short of amazing. Mine diving presents you with the opportunity to visit our history frozen in time from when the mines flooded. It is almost a combination of wreck and cave diving which is probably why I am so in love with the idea of mine diving.
